#DonateAWall Kolkata

Delhi witnessed the first edition of St+art festival in Jan-Feb 2014, when urban villages like Shahpur Jat and Hauz Khas Village became the focal point of the growing street art scene in the capital. The festival continued with its next edition aiming at creating larger iconic landmarks in public spaces of Delhi such as Lodhi Colony. This year, we planned Kolkata's debut with Durga Pujo, when the entire city is dolled up for Durga Maa's arrival! While the city shimmers with colours and patterns, why leave your city behind? With #DonateAWall, we invite you to donate a wall from your city and help art witness a new canvas. To be a part of this journey, all you have to do is donate an exterior wall from your city and we will transform it into an art masterpiece to make your Durga Pujo even more special.

About ST+ART India

  • The St+Art India foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that works on art projects in public spaces. The aim of the foundation is to make art accessible to a wider audience by taking it out of the conventional gallery space and embedding it within the cities we live in - making art truly democratic and for everyone.

#WIP or 'Work in Progress ' was a street art show organised by St+art Delhi. 23 artists from all over the world came together to create artworks onsite over a month at Asia's largest dry port - ICD, TKD in Okhla, New Delhi.
